Terms of Service
Rules and conditions for using JobCentra.

1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of JobCentra ("JobCentra," "we," "us," or "our") at jobcentra.vercel.app and related services (the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
During signup, you must check a box confirming that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. We treat that confirmation as your consent to both documents at registration.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You represent that information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date. The Service is designed for job seekers; it is not an employer and does not guarantee employment.
3. Description of the Service
JobCentra provides tools to help professionals with remote and international job search, including:
- Resume profile building and ATS-oriented formatting
- AI-assisted resume tailoring for specific job listings
- Job discovery, match scoring, and application tracking
- Interview preparation materials
- Notifications and career-related content
Job listings may come from third-party sources. We do not control employer hiring decisions, job availability, or the accuracy of external postings. Links to apply may redirect you to third-party websites.
4. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@jobcentra.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security or legal risk.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of resume files, profile data, and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant JobCentra a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, process, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including providing AI-generated outputs you request.
You represent that you have the right to submit User Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law. Do not submit false employment history, credentials, or misleading information intended to deceive employers.
6. AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to suggest resume text, interview questions, and related materials. AI outputs are provided for assistance only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular employer or jurisdiction.
You must review, edit, and approve all content before use. JobCentra is not responsible for hiring outcomes, rejections, or consequences of submitting AI-assisted materials without adequate review.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service without permission
- Share account access or resell the Service without authorization
- Upload malware or attempt to breach our or others' systems
- Harass other users or impersonate any person or entity
- Circumvent usage limits or payment requirements for paid features
8. Subscriptions and payments
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing intervals, and plan limits are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy at the time of purchase and applicable consumer protection laws. Free-tier limits (e.g. number of tailored resumes) are described in the product and may change.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation (excluding User Content), is owned by JobCentra or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials except as allowed by these Terms or with written permission.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that job matches, ATS scores, or AI suggestions will result in interviews or offers.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOBCENTRA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE THOUSAND PHILIPPINE PESOS (PHP 1,000), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobCentra from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute terms) will survive termination.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer laws apply in your country of residence.
Disputes should first be raised with us at hello@jobcentra.com. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
15. Changes to terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post updates on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
